Nobu is an extraordinary Japanese chef ! Eating his food reminded me of going to a “restaurant gastronomique” in my native country, France, but this time with new and exotic flavors, colors and shapes at the table. It was a unique experience I will urge anyone to enjoy. This feeling of uniqueness started when i placed my order. Instead of asking me to chose courses on a menu, Nobu asked me questions about my tastes in food, what I like, what I dont like, if i was adventurous or rather cautious. The day after, he delivered at my Upper West Side home a meal I am not about to forget: Japanese style Tapas, delicious Sushi, creative and divine handrolls, chicken katsu, Karaage, and finally home-made chocolate chip matcha cookies. All so delicious, absolutely to die for. If you are in need of « la crème de la crème » of Japanese food, do not hesitate and call Nobu not next week, not tomorrow but right now!

Recently I had the pleasure of trying the wonderful dishes prepared by Nobu. He is just amazing. The appetizers were all very tasty and beautifully presented. My entree of chicken prepared two different ways was tender and delicious. Also as part of my “bento box” were tender asparagus tips wrapped in succulent pieces of beef. And yummy chocolate/green tea cookies for dessert. What an overall treat and I’ll definitely be using Nobu for my dinner parties.

Amazing staff and food! My 10-year-old daughter loved the birthday sushi plate! My daughter was never a huge fan of sushi but Chef Nobu changed that! Beautiful presentation and various desserts! 10/10 Birthday Event!

I enjoyed the delicious and authentic flavors from Aquatei. The ingredients were high quality and prepared with care. Traditional favorites like tuna and California rolls were much better than that at the average NYC Japanese restaurant and served at the correct temperature. The smoked salmon sushi rice salad was a cool modern twist and went perfectly with my Champagne.

I found Aquatei through a friend at the office, I ordered 10 Bento boxes for a meeting. I was worried at first but I was surprised when I received them. They were neatly packed and the food looked so yammy! All the meeting members loved the garlic fried rice and karaage! Thank you Aquatei!

Thank you Chef Nobu for delicious sampling of sushi and desserts. My party guests enjoyed both the traditional and your twist on our favorite Japanese dishes! Nothing beats great company accompanied by great food!
